Constantin Dimitrescu: was a Romanian classic composer and music teacher, one of the most prominent representatives of the late Romantic period.Born in Blejoi, Prahova County, he was taken to Bucharest at an early age, once his musical talent was recognized. There he studied cello and composition with some of Romania's best-known music teachers. Funds were subsequently made available for him to continue his education in Vienna and then later in Paris where he studied with, among others, the famous cello virtuoso Auguste Franchomme.

Constantin G. Stere: was a Romanian jurist, writer, politician, ideologue of the Poporanist trend, and, in March 1906, co-founder of the Viata Româneasca literary magazine (together with Garabet Ibraileanu and Paul Bujor — the latter was afterwards replaced by the physician Ioan Cantacuzino).[1]

He was the President of the Provisional Presidium of the People's Republic of Romania from its proclamation on December 30, 1947 to April 13, 1948, and Chairman of the Presidium of the Great National Assembly of the People's Republic of Romania (head of state) from April 13, 1948 to June 12, 1952. Parhon was President of the Medics' and Naturalists' Society in Iasi, hospital director, professor, and director of medical institutes.
