Antonis Tritsis: was a Greek politician and urban planner, born and raised in the town of Argostoli on the island of Kefalonia. A founding member of PASOK, he was elected MP in the Greek Parliament with PASOK in 1981 and 1985 and served as Minister of Urban Planning, and Minister for National Education and Religious Affairs. Antonis Xylouris: is a Greek composer, singer and performer of lyra, the bowed string instrument of Crete and most popular surviving form of the medieval Byzantine lyra. He comes from the mountainous village of Anogeia in Crete and is the younger brother of the late Nikos Xylouris, a notable Cretan singer/musician as well as the older brother of Yiannis Xylouris, an equally notable Cretan musician. Psarantonis is known for the special timbre of his voice and his lyra playing style. Apart from the lyra Psarantonis plays various traditional instruments.[1][2]

Antonis Papadakis: was a Cretan musician and famous for his superb lyra performance. He was born in Pervolia, Rethymno and started playing the lyra since he was a kid. He is considered as one of the most important lyra performers of the early 20th century. When he started playing lyra the laouto was not yet established as an accompanying instrument of the lyre in Crete. Thus, he was occasionally using the string instrument boulgari as accompanying instrument, popular at that time in the Rethymnon. Bouzouki was a typical accompanying instrument for lyra at that time.

Julian Antonisz: was a Polish avant-garde filmmaker, artist, animator, screenwriter, composer, and inventor.Best known as an inventor and promoter of his unique animation technique called non-camera. Sun: A Non-Camera Film 1977 (Slonce - film bez kamery) was his first all non-camera movie, although the technique has been used also in Antonisz's earlier productions. The idea after the tehnique was to paint or scratch the images directly onto the movie tape instead of using a camcorder. Usually one second of movie uses 24 frames. For example, his debut film Phobia 1967, lasts 11 minutes. 660 seconds times 24 frames gives us 15,840 images that had to be painted.
