András Domahidy: a contemporary Hungarian-Australian, novelist and retired librarian.[1] His novels are written in Hungarian.Born in Satu Mare, Romania, András Domahidy completed a PhD in Law at Budapest University and served in the Hungarian Army towards the close of World War II. In 1950 he came to Australia, settling in Perth and obtaining a BA at the University of Western Australia. Until his retirement in 1985 he was a senior librarian at the university.

Bertalan Andrásfalvy: is a former Hungarian ethnographic and politician, who served as Minister of Education between 1990 and 1993. He joined to the Hungarian Democratic Forum in 1988. He became member of the National Assembly of Hungary in 1990. József Antall appointed him Minister of Education. He finished the changes requested by the transformation of regime in the Hungarian cultural life. Andrásfalvy left the party in 2005 and joined to the National Forum which founded by Sándor Lezsák who was expelled from the MDF.
