In addition to this he also wrote the 1954 war movie Letter with Feather.

A graduate of the Beijing Film Academy and contemporary of such acclaimed directors as Zhang Yimou, Chen Kaige, and Tian Zhuangzhuang, Zhang Junzhao was a prominent early member of China's Fifth Generation filmmakers.[1] His 1984 film One and Eight (Yi ge he ba ge) is well known as a film that marked the advent of the Fifth Generation, while The Shining Arc (Hu guang, 1988) was nominated for the Golden St. George award at the 1989 Moscow International Film Festival.[2]

O Zhang: is a Chinese artist based in New York. Although she is best known for her photographs depicting Chinese youth, Zhang also makes paintings, short films and installations. She was trained as an oil painter at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing before moving to London where she earned two MAs, the first in Fine Arts from Byam Shaw, St. Martins School of Art in Fine Arts, and the second from the Royal College of Art in Photography.[1] In 2004 Zhang moved to New York City where she has since lived and worked, making yearly returns to her native China.[2] O Zhang is represented by CRG Gallery, NY, which will present her first American solo exhibition, The World Is Yours (But Also Ours), in December, 2008.[3] Zhang is also represented by Pékin Fine Arts in Beijing and by FA Projects in London.
