Oxana Skaldina: is a former Individual Rhythmic Gymnast. She started gymnastics at age 5, her first coach was Liudmilla Koval but, she soon moved to the Kiev rhythmics school of Albina and Irina Deriugina. With the break-up of the USSR, Oksana and her friend Alexandra Timoshenko, both coached by the coaching duo of Albina and Irina Deriugina, competed at the 1992 European Championships in Stuttgart, Germany for their native country, Ukraine.
