Faruk Süren: is a Turkish businessman and former chairman of the Turkish sports club Galatasaray.He graduated from a German high school in Germany, then studied business administration in Istanbul University. After serving as vice-president for years, he was elected as the president of Galatasaray S.K. in 1996, a position he held for five years. He is fluent in English, French and German as well as his native Turkish. He is married and has two children.

Faruk Ahmed: is a former Bangladeshi cricketer who played in 7 ODIs from 1988 to 1999. A right hand middle order bat, he mostly batted at No. 3, but he could open the batting if necessary. He made his ODI debut at Chittagong in 1988, against Pakistan . His highest one day score was 57 against India at Chandigarh in 1990. There he put on 108 for the 3rd wicket with Athar Ali Khan. Ahmed also played in two ICC Trophy tournaments, in 1990and 1994.

Faruk Hadžibegic: is a Bosnian football manager and a retired football player. Hadžibegic was also a participant in the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy for the Yugoslavia national football team, appearing in all five of his team's matches. Yugoslavia went on to face Argentina in quarter-finals, where after a 0-0 draw in regulation and extra time, elimination was decided on penalty kicks, with Hadžibegic missing the final attempt and sending the Yugoslav team home.
