Wright Brothers, Orville            Origin/Culture/Country: American

Wright Brothers, Orville: were two Americans who are generally credited[1][2][3] with inventing and building the world's first successful airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight on 17 December 1903. They are also officially credited worldwide through the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, the standard setting and record-keeping body for aeronautics and astronautics, as "the first sustained and controlled heavier-than-air powered flight". In the two years afterward, the brothers developed their flying machine into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft. Although not the first to build and fly experimental aircraft, the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed wing flight possible.

Jake Maxwell Wright: is an English footballer, who plays for Crawley Town. He started his career with Bradford City, but played only one senior game for them, before he joined Halifax Town where he had previously spent a loan spell. He spent two years at Halifax, but after they were demoted from the Conference National, he moved to Crawley Town in June 2008. He can play at left back or centre back.

Thomas Wright: was an English astronomer, mathematician, instrument maker, architect and garden designer. He was the first to describe the shape of the Milky Way and speculate that faint nebulae were distant galaxies.Wright was born at Byers Green in County Durham. In 1730 he set up a school in Sunderland, where he taught mathematics and navigation. He later moved to London to work on a number of projects for his wealthy patrons. (This was before retiring to County Durham and building a small observatory at Westerton.

Sewall Green Wright: was an American geneticist known for his influential work on evolutionary theory and also for his work on path analysis. With R. A. Fisher and J.B.S. Haldane, he was a founder of theoretical population genetics. He is the discoverer of the inbreeding coefficient and of methods of computing it in pedigrees. He extended this work to populations, computing the amount of inbreeding of members of populations as a result of random genetic drift, and he and Fisher pioneered methods for computing the distribution of gene frequencies among populations as a result of the interaction of natural selection, mutation, migration and genetic drift. The work of Fisher, Wright, and Haldane on theoretical population genetics was a major step in the development of the modern evolutionary synthesis of genetics with evolution. Wright also made major contributions to mammalian genetics and biochemical genetics.

Sean "Caestus" Wright: a professional Scottish Welterweight kickboxer and martial artist fighting out of Lanna Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He is a current WMC Intercontinental Muay Thai champion and a semi finalist on the reality show The Contender Asia.[1]

Albert Hazen Wright: was a professor at Cornell University and a herpetologist. He was also an honorary member of the "International Ornithological Congress." He did a great deal of study of the Okefenokee Swamp. In 1955 he won the Eminent Ecologist Award.[1]
