Welshman Ncube: is a Zimbabwean politician and the Secretary-General of the faction [1] of the Movement for Democratic Change led by Arthur Mutambara. He was elected as a member of the House of Assembly of Zimbabwe for Bulawayo North East in the 2000 election and served in the House of Assembly until 2008,when he lost the election. Ncube is an academic lawyer who has been Professor of Law at the University of Zimbabwe from 1992.

Matthew ("Matt") Welsh: is an Australian swimmer who is the world champion in the backstroke and butterfly. Matt currently trains under coach Ian Pope at the Melbourne Vicentre Club. He took two golds in 50 metres butterfly and 50 metres backstroke, during one hour, at the World Championships in Shanghai 2006. Matt announced his retirement from professional swimming on 24 March when he failed to secure a place at the Beijing Olympics, however Matt will still swim in the 50m backstroke at the Olympic trials, however, this is not an Olympic event.
