Auguste Charles Philippe Robert Landry: was a Canadian parliamentarian who served as Speaker of the Canadian Senate from 1911 to 1916.He won a seat in the Quebec Legislative Assembly in 1875 but the election was overturned a year later. He served as president of the Conservative Party Association of Quebec for several years and was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in 1878 as a Conservative representing Montmagny, Quebec. He was re-elected in the 1882 election but was defeated in 1887.

Bernard Landry: is a Quebec lawyer, teacher, politician, who served as the 28th Premier of Quebec (2001–2003), leader of the Opposition (2003–2005) and leader of the Parti Québécois (2001–2005).A practising lawyer, he was a partner in the Montreal law firm of "Lapointe Rosenstein" when he was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 1976 general election. Under the Parti Québécois (PQ) government of René Lévesque, he served as Minister of State of Economic Development from February 2, 1977 to March 12, 1981. Re-elected in the riding of Laval-des-rapides at the 1981 general election, he was again Minister of State of Economic Development until September 9, 1982 when he was made Delegate Minister to Exterior Commerce. He was later Minister of International Relations and Exterior Commerce, and Minister of Finance in the same government.

Jean Landry: was a member of the Canadian House of Commons from 1993 to 1997. His career has included photography and food preparation. He was elected in the Lotbinière electoral district under the Bloc Québécois party in the 1993 federal election, thus he served in the 35th Canadian Parliament. He joined the federalist Progressive Conservative party for the 2000 federal election and unsuccessfully campaigned for a Parliamentary seat in the Lotbinière—L'Érable riding. After electoral districts were restructured, Landry made another unsuccessful bid for Parliament in the 2004 federal election at the Lotbinière—Chutes-de-la-Chaudière riding, after his party became the Conservative party. He campaigned for the Conservatives again in the Richmond—Arthabaska riding in the 2006 general election.
