Cardozo High School in Queens, New York City.[1] After a college career at the University of Texas at Austin, in which he finished as the school's all-time career leader in games started (126),[2] he was a second round draft choice of the Atlanta Hawks in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Joseph Royal: was a Canadian journalist, lawyer, politician, businessman, and Lieutenant Governor of the Northwest Territories. In the 1870 Manitoba provincial elections, he was acclaimed to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the riding St François Xavier West, and in 1871 he was unanimously chosen speaker.
