Brian Rolston: is a professional ice hockey player for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.Rolston was drafted in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils as their first overall pick. He has played for the New Jersey Devils, the Colorado Avalanche and then was traded to the Boston Bruins. He scored a then career high 62 points, including an impressive 9 shorthanded goals in 2001-02 with the Bruins. Within his career he has scored a total of 33 shorthanded goals.

Tilly Rolston: was a Canadian politician. Initially elected to the British Columbia provincial legislature as a Progressive Conservative, she crossed the floor and joined W.A.C. Bennett in the British Columbia Social Credit Party before the watershed election in 1952. She was the second woman to be a cabinet minister in British Columbia, and the first woman in Canada to have a portfolio. In her role as Minister of Education, she introduced a new method of school finance that came to be known as the "Rolston Formula". Peter Carson Rolston: was a United Church minister and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Dewdney in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1972 to 1975 as a New Democratic Party (NDP) member. He was ordained a minister in 1965. Rolston was the grandson of Tilly Jean Rolston. He served as minister for St. Andrews United Church in Mission. He was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1975. Rolston died at home of lymphoma.
