Peter Hood Ballantine Frelinghuysen Jr: represented New Jersey in the United States House of Representatives as a Republican from 1953 to 1975. He was born in New York City.He has a brother, Henry Osborne Havemeyer Frelinghuysen, and a sister, Frederica Frelinghuysen Emert. Peter attended St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts and graduated from Princeton University in 1938. After practicing law in New York City, he served in the Office of Naval Intelligence from September 1942 to December 1945 obtaining the rank of lieutenant. He then studied at Columbia University, 1946–1947. He served as staff of the Foreign Affairs Task Force of the Hoover Commission in 1948 before returning to the private sector. He served as director of Howard Savings Bank in Livingston, New Jersey.

After graduating from high school, Falk joined the United States Merchant Marine as a cook, before completing a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the New School for Social Research in 1951. He also attended Hamilton College in Clinton, New York for three years. Peter Ludwig Berger: is an American sociologist and Lutheran theologian well known for his work The Social Construction of Reality: A Treatise in the Sociology of Knowledge (New York, 1966), which he co-authored with Thomas Luckmann.In 1955 and 1956 he worked at the Evangelische Akademie in Bad Boll, Germany. From 1956 to 1958 Berger was an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina; from 1958 to 1963 he was an associate professor at Hartford Theological Seminary. The next stations in his career were professorships at the New School for Social Research, Rutgers University, and Boston College. Since 1981 Berger has been University Professor of Sociology and Theology at Boston University, and since 1985 also director of the Institute for the Study of Economic Culture, which transformed, a few years ago, into the Institute on Culture, Religion and World Affairs[1].
