Milton W Schoon: was an American professional basketball player.A 6'7" center, Schoon played for Valparaiso University during the 1940s, gaining fame for his ability to defend top-ranked player George Mikan of DePaul University. Schoon then played professionally in the NBL, NBA, and NIBL as a member of the Anderson Packers, Detroit Falcons, Sheboygan Redskins, and Denver Frontier-Refiners. With the NIBL's Frontier-Refiners in 1951, Schoon set a professional basketball scoring record with 64 points in a single game. That record is currently held by Wilt Chamberlain, who scored 100 points in a 1962 NBA game

He is particularly noted for his pioneering serial, and electronic music.Babbitt's father was a mathematician, and it was mathematics that Babbitt intended to study when he entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1931.
