Long Boret: was a Cambodian politician who served as Prime Minister of Cambodia from (December 26, 1973–April 17, 1975).Long was born in Kandal province, Cambodia. He was the information minister from 1971 to 1972 and the foreign minister from 1972 to 1973. On December 9, 1973, he became prime minister of Cambodia. Long Boret, Lon Non Prince Sisowath Sirik Matak remained in office until the Khmer Rouge captured Phnom Penh on April 17, 1975, unlike many government officials that chose to flee Phnom Penh. Long remained behind despite being on a death list announced by Norodom Sihanouk from Beijing. After the Khmer Rouge took power, they detained him at the information ministry with other top officials who had remained behind.

Long Tan: is a Chinese footballer currently playing for FC Tampa Bay in the USSF Division 2 Professional League. Tan has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old. Between 1994 and 2004, he studied academics and played soccer at Zhong Shan school in his hometown, Dalian, before moving to Shanghai to further his career. He subsequently played for Shanghai United and Pudong Zobon in China League One, before relocating to the United States in late 2008. Tan played for the Atlanta Blackhawks in the USL Premier Development League in 2009, scoring 6 goals in 16 appearances.

Arthur Art Donnell Long: is an American professional basketball player formerly in the NBA. A 6'9", 250 pound power forward out of the East High School and University of Cincinnati who also attended Independence Community Junior College, Dodge City Community College in Kansas and Southeastern Community College in Iowa, Long was not drafted but both the Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings signed him as a free agent in 1999, though he was waived before ever playing a game for either. He eventually played nine games with the Kings from February 2001 until the season ended. He spent the majority of his college and pro career at power forward and center but as a high schooler, Long displayed the ability to put the ball on the floor and play small forward.

Long played six seasons for the Heat, earning a reputation for his aggressive defense and strong rebounding. Long would also play for the Atlanta Hawks (in two separate stints), Detroit Pistons, Vancouver and Memphis Grizzlies, and Boston Celtics, and he ended his NBA career in 2003 with 9,518 total points and 6,154 total rebounds.
