Jones Kusi-Asare: a Ghanaian-born Swedish football striker, currently at Djurgårdens IF.He started his career at Vasalunds IF in the Stockholm suburb of Solna.[1] He was signed by Djurgården in 1998[1] and made his Allsvenskan against IFK Norrköping on April 11, 1999. He struggled in the first two seasons but in 2001 he became their top goalscorer despite the fact that he often started on the bench. After spells at Grazer AK in Austria and Denilzispor in Turkey, he returned to Swedish football in 2003 when he signed for Landskrona BoIS. After two seasons there (2003 and 2004), he returned to Djurgården and has since then been one of their top goal scorer.

He was also treasurer for Woodstock before he became mayor in 1880 after the death of Frederick T. Bridges.

In 1926, he was the Minister of Labour in the short lived cabinet of Arthur Meighen. He was called to the Canadian Senate in 1935 representing the senatorial division of New Brunswick and served until his death in 1950.
