Davie Armour: is a Scottish former professional football player who is best known for his time with Ayr United.Armour joined Rangers in 1974 from Shamrock Boys Club and had a loan spell at Kilbirnie Ladeside previously. He made his Rangers debut in the last league game of the 1976-77 season, a 2-1 defeat away to Aberdeen. He left Rangers to join Ayr United in 1979 and spent five seasons with the side. After which Armour moved on to Cowdenbeath for a three year spell.

Alexander Edmund Batson Davie: was a British Columbia politician and lawyer, and was premier of British Columbia from 1887 until his death. Davie was first elected to the provincial legislature in 1875 from the riding of Lillooet and began as a supporter of the government of George Anthony Walkem but soon joined the Opposition. He lost his seat in 1877 after a brief stint in the cabinet of Premier Andrew Charles Elliott as provincial secretary. Davie returned to the legislature in 1882 and became Attorney-General under Premier William Smithe.

Theodore Davie: was a British Columbia lawyer, politician and jurist. He practiced law in Cassiar and Nanaimo before settling in Victoria and becoming a leading criminal lawyer. He was the brother of Alexander Edmund Batson Davie. Theodore Davie was first elected to the provincial legislature in 1882. In 1889 he became Attorney-General under Premier John Robson and succeeded Robson in 1892. Davie served as premier until 1895 when he resigned to become Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of British Columbia succeeding the province's first Chief Justice, Matthew Baillie Begbie.

Cyril Francis Davie: was a lawyer and political figure in British Columbia, Canada. He represented Cowichan-Newcastle in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1924 to 1933 as a Conservative. He was speaker for the assembly from 1931 to 1933. Davie was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1933. He lived in Duncan.
