Boyd Wheeler Bartlett            Origin/Culture/Country: American

Boyd Wheeler Bartlett: was an American military officer, professor, school administrator, and physicist.After Bartlett returned from Europe, he began a teaching career in physics at Bowdoin College as Professor of Physics. When World War II started, he was called up as a Colonel and assigned to the United States Military Academy. The head of the Physics Department there, Gerald Counts, was reassigned to Europe, and Bartlett stepped in as acting head of the Department. When Counts returned after the war, Bartlett served as deputy head of the Department, later, through a number of reorganizations and departmental name changes, he became head of the Department of Electricity, predecessor to the Department of Electrical Engineering. He retained this position until his retirement and promotion to Brigadier General in 1958.[3] [6]

Devereaux was drafted 6th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Devereaux has played 604 career NHL games, scoring 61 goals and 107 assists for 168 points.

Marion Boyd: is a former Canadian politician, who represented the riding of London Centre in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1990 to 1999 as a member of the Ontario New Democratic Party.The Ontario New Democratic Party won the 1990 provincial election and Boyd scored a landslide victory over David Peterson in London Centre, defeating the Premier by more than 8,000 votes. She was appointed Minister of Education on October 1, 1990. She also received responsibility for Women's Issues on September 11, 1991, and launched a high-profile campaign against domestic abuse in the same year. She was transferred to the Ministry of Community and Social Services on October 15, 1991.

Nathaniel Boyd: was a Canadian politician. He first ran as the Conservative candidate for the Canadian House of Commons for the riding of Marquette in the 1891 federal election but was defeated. He was acclaimed in a 1892 by-election resulting from the resignation of the sitting MP, Robert Watson. He was re-elected in 1896 for the riding of Macdonald. The election was declared void in 1897 and Boyd did not run in the resulting by-election. He did run and win again in 1900 election and was defeated in 1904 election this time for the riding of Portage la Prairie.

John Boyd            Origin/Culture/Country: American

John Boyd: was a businessman and the eighth Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick following Canadian confederation. Boyd was appointed to the Canadian Senate as a Liberal-Conservative (supporter of Sir John A. Macdonald) on February 11, 1880 and then to the position of lieutenant governor of New Brunswick on September 21, 1893 but served only a few months until his death on December 4, 1893.

Donald David Boyd: was a lawyer, civil servant and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Richmond County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1937 to 1941 as a Liberal member. He married Katherine McIsaac. Boyd worked in the Department of Mines and Labour from 1941 to 1948 and the Department of the Attorney General from 1948 to 1956. He died at Prospect, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.

Alfred Boyd: was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He is usually considered to have been the first Premier of Manitoba (1870–1871), but he was not recognized by that title at the time and was not the real leader of the government. He is more correctly referred to as the first Provincial Secretary of Manitoba. (Some modern sources list his official title as "Chief Minister", but this does not appear in parliamentary documents from the period and is apparently a more recent invention.)
