A Progressive Conservative, she was re-elected in the 1988 election. From 1984 to 1986, she was the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Health and Welfare. From 1986 to 1987, she was the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs.

He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1940 election as an independent Liberal to represent the riding of Terrebonne. He joined the Liberal Party for the 1945 election and was re-elected that year then re-elected in 1949 and in 1953. He was also a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec elected in 1960 to represent the electoral district of Terrebonne. He was appointed as Provincial Secretary, followed by Minister of Tourism, Fish and Game then followed by Member of the Legislative Council of Quebec. Bertrand also authored a number of books.

Roger Bertrand: is an economist, civil servant and former political figure in Quebec. He represented Portneuf in the Quebec National Assembly as a Parti Québécois member from 1993 to 2003. He was a member of the Quebec cabinet, serving as Minister of Revenue from 1996 to 1997, Minister of Industry and Commerce from 1997 to 1998 and Minister of Health, Social Services, Youth Protection and Rehabilitation from 2002 to 2003. Bertrand was defeated by Jean-Pierre Soucy when he ran for reelection in 2003.

Jean-François Bertrand: is a politician in Quebec, Canada. Bertrand became an executive member of the Parti Québécois in 1974 and was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 1976 election. He served as parliamentary assistant and Deputy House Leader from 1978 to the 1981 election. He was re-elected in 1981 and was appointed to Premier René Lévesque's Cabinet. He served as Minister of Communications, until his defeat in the 1985 election. He also was the government's House Leader from 1982 to 1984. Bertrand was the Progrès Civique de Québec candidate for mayor in Quebec City in 1989. He lost against Rassemblement Populaire candidate Jean-Paul L'Allier. Rosaire Bertrand: is an insurance broker and a former Quebec politician. He was the Member of National Assembly of Quebec for the provincial riding of Charlevoix as a member of the Parti Québécois from 1994 to 2007. He was also an administration member of the Junior Chambers of French Canada, the Canadian Life Insurance Association, the Association of Quebec City Life underwriters, the Provincial Association of Quebec Life Underwriters and the Insurance Brokers Association of Quebec. He was also an active member of the Parti Québécois, being the president of the party in the Capitale-Nationale region. Bertrand entered politics in 1994 and was elected for the first of four mandates in Charlevoix. During his first mandate he was the Chair of the Government Caucus from 1994 to 1996. After being re-elected in 1998, he was the Delegate Minister responsible for the Capitale-Nationale region from 2001 to 2003. Bertrand was later re-elected in 2003 and 2007. During his third and current mandate, he was the critic in financial institutions.
