Barton Myers: is an American and Canadian architect and president of Barton Myers Associates, Inc. in Los Angeles, California.Barton Myers graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served as a jet-fighter pilot for five years in the United States Air Force, based for three years in England. Following this period he attended architecture courses at Cambridge University and returned to the United States to study architecture. He received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently worked with Louis Kahn. He established his own practice in Toronto in 1968, where he was principal in the firm of Diamond and Myers until 1975, when he formed Barton Myers Associates in Toronto. In 1984, he opened an office in Los Angeles that is now the firm's base.

Zwiebach obtained his Ph.D. in 1983, working under the supervision of Murray Gell-Mann. He has held postdoctoral positions at the University of California, Berkeley, and at MIT, where he became an Assistant Professor of Physics in 1987, and a permanent member of the faculty in 1994.

In 1786 he transferred to the University of Edinburgh, where he stayed for two years before leaving as a result of disagreements with two professors. He then moved to the University of Göttingen, from which he obtained an M.D. in 1789.
