Famous musicians like Peter Hurford or Helen Donath or the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields came to the cathedral, invited by Neithard Bethke. Later Axel studied Church Music and Conductor in Hamburg, with conductor Klauspeter Seibel and organist Heinz Wunderlich.
