Réal Lapierre: is a Canadian politician and former École Pointe-Lévy geography teacher. In 1974 he became mayor where he remained until 1985. After a nine year hiatus, he was elected mayor again, which he remained until 2004. From 2001 to 2004 he was also a prefect in the Bellechasse MRC. In the Canadian federal election, 2004, he was elected in to the Canadian House of Commons as a Bloc Québécois member in the riding of Lévis—Bellechasse. He was defeated in the 2006 election.

Réal Ménard: is a Canadian politician, who was a Bloc Québécois member of the Canadian House of Commons from 1993 to 2009. He was the second Canadian Member of Parliament to come out as gay (the first being Svend Robinson). In June 2009, Ménard announced that he was resigning from the House of Commons, effective September 16, in order to run as a Vision Montreal candidate for borough mayor of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve in Montreal's 2009 municipal election. Prior to his first election to the House of Commons, he was a political assistant to Louise Harel, Vision Montreal's 2009 candidate for Mayor of Montreal, when she was a provincial MNA.

Luciana Abreu Sodré Costa Real: She was first noticed at the age of 14, for her participation in the show "Cantigas da Rua", which she won. During 2002 she took a part in the play O Casamento, by the Seiva Trupe theatre company, as both actress and singer. Later, in 2003, she starred the musical play Cabaret Carioca by Carlos Leça, inspired by Chico Buarque's music, in which she took the role of Beatriz.In 2004 Luciana auditioned for the second season of Idolos (the Portuguese version of Pop Idol (British original version)). She was a member of the first group of semifinalists. She sang a rendition of Christina Aguilera's "The Voice Within" which garnered her a top 10 position

Baltasar Garzón Real: a judge in Spain. Garzón currently sits on Spain's criminal court (Sala 5 of the Audiencia Nacional, also known as National Court), the Audiencia Nacional. He has been the subject of controversy.Garzón came to international attention on October 10, 1998 when he issued an international warrant for the arrest of former Chilean president Augusto Pinochet over the alleged deaths and torture of Spanish citizens during his tenure; the Chilean Truth Commission (1990-91) report was the basis for the warrant, although Pinochet's alleged crimes took place well outside the jurisdiction of the Spanish court. Eventually it was turned down by the then British Home Secretary, Jack Straw, who refused Garzón's request to have Pinochet extradited to Spain.

Antonio Villa-Real: was a Filipino jurist who served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.Upon his return to the Philippines, Villa-Real passed the civil service examinations, allowing him to work as an interpreter and translator with the Bureau of Justice. He also studied law, and passed the bar examinations in 1909. Villa-Real continued working at the Bureau of Justice, this time as an attorney, until he was appointed as a trial court judge in 1916. He returned to the Bureau of Justice in 1921, this time as attorney-general from 1921 to 1925.
