Lucile Wheeler: is a Canadian former Alpine skiing world champion.Lucile Wheeler grew up in the village of Saint-Jovite, Quebec in the Laurentian mountains where her family was instrumental in promoting the sport of skiing and where her grandfather George Wheeler built the famous Gray Rocks ski center at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Taught to ski at the age of two, Lucile Wheeler's skills were such that she was soon competing against older skiers. At age 10, she finished seventh in a downhill ski event at Mont Tremblant in a race that was open to participants of all ages. By age 12, she had won the Canadian junior ski championship and at 14 was selected to compete for Canada in the world championships in Aspen, Colorado. However, her parents felt she was too young to miss school and did not allow her to go.

Lucile Hadzihalilovic: is a French filmmaker. She became the first woman to win the Stockholm International Film Festivals annual Bronze Horse award for best film for her 2004 film Innocence. Hadzihalilovic was born in Lyon in 1961 to Bosnian immigrant parents. She studied filmmaking at the Institut des Hautes Études Cinématographiques in Paris. She has worked as an editor of documentaries and features, and is a longtime collaborator with her husband Gaspar Noé, serving as a producer and editor of his short Carne (1991) and feature I Stand Alone (1998). She also collaborated with Noé on the screenplay of his latest film Enter the Void (2010)
Lucile Alexia Grahn Origin/Culture/Country: Danish
Lucile Alexia Grahn: was the first internationally renowned Danish ballerina and one of the popular dancers of the Romantic ballet era. Grahn studied from a young age at the Royal Danish Theatre School in Copenhagen, Denmark under the tutelage of August Bournonville. She officially debuted in 1834 at the theater and took on the leading role of Astrid in Bournonville's Valdemar in 1835. Soon the relationship between Bournonville and Grahn began to sour as she yearned to dance with the famed Paris Opera Ballet. She eventually received royal permission to leave; after her departure in 1836, she never returned to Denmark. In 1839, Grahn had overstayed the terms of her formal leave, and was dropped from the Royal Danish Ballet's rolls. She had been appearing with the Paris 'Opera' Ballet; from 1839 to 1845, extending her audience base, Grahn danced in several cities, including London, St. Petersburg, and Milan. In 1845, her place among the accepted solists of her day was acknowledged when she was invited to dance Perrot's Pas de Quatre alongside the already famous dancers Fanny Cerrito, Carlotta Grisi, and Marie Taglioni.

Lucile-Angélique-Dorothée-Louise Grétry: was a French composer. The second daughter of the famous composer André Grétry and the painter Jeanne-Marie Grandon, Lucile wrote two opéras comiques for the Comédie-Italienne theatre. The first, Le mariage d’Antonio (1786), was written when she was just fourteen years old. It was a sequel to her father's most famous work, Richard Coeur-de-lion (1784), and ran for 47 performances. Her father assisted her with the orchestral scoring. It was followed by Toinette et Louis in 1787, which was a failure. Lucile Grétry's promising career was cut short by her death from tuberculosis at the age of eighteen.
