Martin St-Louis: a French Canadian professional ice hockey right winger with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.A diminutive player by NHL standards at 5-foot-9, St-Louis pronounced (San Lou E) has played six seasons as of the 2006-07 NHL season for the Tampa Bay Lightning, and had previously played for the Calgary Flames. As an amateur he played for the University of Vermont Catamounts on the same team as Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas, and on the same line as former Tampa Bay Lightning teammate Eric Perrin. Tim Louis: is a lawyer and municipal politician in Vancouver, Canada. He was elected to the Vancouver Parks Board in 1990 and 1993, and later to Vancouver City Council as a member of the Coalition of Progressive Electors (COPE) in 1999 and 2002. In 1990, Louis was elected to the Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation and re-elected in 1993. First elected to Vancouver City Council in 1999, Louis became known for his pointed questions aimed at addressing issues of social justice in the city of Vancouver. He was re-elected in 2002. Louis proudly showed off his progressive beliefs, often appearing at public functions in a red Che Guevara shirt. In 2008, Louis ran for a nomination for city council within COPE, as part of a 'Keep It COPE' slate; he narrowly lost by six votes to Ellen Woodsworth. She and David Cadman went on to become elected to council as part of COPE's combined slate with the Green Party and Vision Vancouver.
