She spent the years following the war documenting destruction across Italy, participating in the National Congress for Reconstruction. She also founded a weekly magazine, A Cultura della Vita, with Bruno Zevi. After the war she married Pietro Maria Bardi.

Lina Tsaldari: was a Greek politician. She was a right-wing member of Parliament and became the first female minister in Greece in 1952, when she served as Minister for Social Welfare, under Konstantinos Karamanlis' government. She died of a stroke on October 17, prior to the general elections of 1981 at the age of 94. She was the daughter of Prime Minister of Greece Spyridon Lambros. In 1919 she married Panagis Tsaldaris who served as Prime Minister in the 1930s. In the 1940s she became increasingly vocal in the battle for women's suffrage in Greece. She was a president of PIKPA after the death of her husband and, after her term in the cabinet, served as Greece's delegate to the United Nations.
