Judith Perelman Rossner: was an American novelist, best known for her 1975 novel Looking for Mr. Goodbar, which was inspired by the murder of Roseann Quinn and examined the underside of the seventies sexual liberation movement. Though Looking for Mr. Goodbar remained Rossner's best known and best selling work, she continued to write. Her most successful post-Goodbar novel was 1983's August, about the relationship between a woman and her psychoanalyst, who has more emotional troubles than her patient. Rossner died in 2005, from complications of diabetes at the age of 70.

On trial, Karen saved her friend Viki Lord from being convicted of killing her pimp by admitting that she had been a prostitute to the entire town, including her faithful husband. Light won Daytime Emmy Awards in 1980 and 1981.

Judith Goslin Hall,: a pediatrician, clinical geneticist and dysmorphologist who is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada. She goes formally as Judith G. Hall and informally as Judy Hall.She went to medical school in Seattle at the University of Washington (UW) from which she received an MD degree in 1966. The same year she was also awarded an MS degree in Genetics from UW for coursework and research done with Dr. Arno Motulsky in medical genetics.Dr. Hall then went to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where she did postdoctoral fellowships in Medical Genetics with Dr. Victor McKusick and in Pediatric Endocrinology with Dr. Robert Blizzard. She then trained in pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1969 to 1971.
