Charles Champagne: was a lawyer and political figure in Quebec. He represented Hochelaga in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1888 to 1890 as a Liberal. His name also appears as Charles Laplante dit Champagne.

Noëlla Champagne: is a politician from Quebec, Canada, and a second-term Member of the National Assembly (MNA). She ran as a Parti Québécois (PQ) candidate in the district of Champlain in the 2003 provincial general election, which resulted in a tie vote. A subsequent by-election was necessary to break the tie. It gave Champagne, who became the 45th PQ MNA to the new assembly, the victory over Liberal candidate and former MNA Pierre-A. Brouillette. In the 2008 election however, Champagne won her seat back from the Quebec Liberal Party's Pierre-Michel Auger who defeated Champagne in the 2007 elections as a member of the ADQ but switched to the Liberal before the elections.

Andrée Champagne: is an actress, pianist and Canadian politician. Champagne entered politics as a Progressive Conservative candidate in the 1984 election, and was elected in the Tory landslide as Member of Parliament for Saint-Hyacinthe-Bagot . She was appointed to the Cabinet of Prime Minister Brian Mulroney as Minister of State for Youth. From 1986 to 1990, she served as Assistant Deputy Chair of the Committee of the Whole House, and became Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons in 1990. She served in that role until her electoral defeat in the 1993 general election. On August 2, 2005, Prime Minister Paul Martin announced the appointment by Governor General Adrienne Clarkson of Champagne as a Conservative member of the Canadian Senate.

Napoléon Champagne: was mayor of Ottawa in 1908 and 1924, and a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario representing Ottawa East from 1911 to 1914. Champagne served 14 years on Ottawa city council and also served ten years as controller. In 1908, he served as mayor after D'Arcy Scott resigned to serve on the Board of Railway Commissioners. The Champagne Bath, a fitness facility, was named after him. He took over the role of mayor in May 1924 when mayor Henry Watters died while in office. Besides serving in the provincial legislature, he also made several unsuccessful attempts at representing the City of Ottawa federally. Champagne died in Ottawa after suffering a heart attack in 1925 and is buried in the Notre-Dame Cemetery.

Albert Champagne: was a Saskatchewan rancher, hotel-owner and political figure. He represented Battleford in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan from 1905 to 1908 and in the Canadian House of Commons as a Liberal from 1908 to 1917. He was born in Ottawa in 1866, the son of Séraphin Champagne. He apprenticed as a tailor there before enrolling in the North-West Mounted Police in 1885. In 1895, Champagne left the police and purchased a large ranch near Battleford, Saskatchewan. He later sold the ranch and took over the operation of a hotel in Battleford, buying another hotel there a few years later. He was also involved in the sale of horses. In 1904, Champagne became the first mayor of Battleford. He ran unsuccessfully for reelection to the federal parliament for Battleford in 1921.
