She met Jari Komulainen, when she won a beauty pageant, Miss Submarine, which Komulainen had arranged. She started dancing when she was 4 years old in the dancing school of Margare Von Bahr. At the age of 9 she got into Finnish Nationaloperas ballet school, where she studied for 8 years. In the summer of 1993 she studied in London at the Laban Center, in 1994 she studied to be a gymnastics teacher in Varala Sports school.
