He currently plays for Racing Club de Avellaneda of the Primera Division Argentina.In 2007 Yacob was selected to join the Argentina Under-20 squad to play in the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay. He was also part of the U-20 team that won the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.

Andreas Yacob-Haddad: an Assyrian-Swedish football striker who most recently played for Danish side Vejle Boldklub. In January 2008 he is signed a ½-year contract with the club, but the contract was cancelled only two months later due to injuries. Yacob-Haddad has also played for Swedish side Assyriska Föreningen and for a short period in Norwegian side Lillestrøm SK on loan.
