Theodor Von Schacht: was a German composer. After his studies in Stuttgart and Wetzlar, von Schacht arrived in Regensburg as a knight (Hofkavalier). There he was appointed in 1773 director of the court music, and assigned also to direct Italian opera.

Theodor Uhlig: was a German viola-player, composer and music critic. The illegitimate son of King Frederick Augustus II of Saxony[1], Uhlig became a member of the Dresden orchestra at the age of 19. In the following year (1842), Richard Wagner came to Dresden for the premiere of his opera, Rienzi, and remained in the city as Kapellmeister until his flight following the May Uprising in the city of 1849 (in which he had taken a leading part).
