Akiko "Akko" Noma: was born February 13th, 1980, in Kagoshima, Japan. While in high school she met Yuu, who formed Jellyfish, a JUDY AND MARY cover band made-up of five girls including Akiko.[1] When Jellyfish broke up a few years later, Yuu and Akiko would remain together and in 1998 form the rock band GO!GO!7188. Although Yuu is the lead vocalist of the group her style of performance is somewhat reserved. This goes in sharp contrast to Akiko's energetic dancing and bass playing, making Akiko the most visible personality during the live performances, despite their drummer, Turkey, garnering the label of "leader."

Hiroshi Noma: was a noted Japanese author.In 1935 he enrolled at Kyoto University, where he studied French literature with a particular interest in French Symbolist poetry. He also became active in Marxist student movements.Noma's first long novel, Shinku chitai (????, Zone of Emptiness?), was published in 1952. It has been called one of the best war novels produced after World War II.[citation needed] In 1971 Noma received the Tanizaki Prize for his 5-volume work Seinen no wa (?????).
