Elected Mayor of Concord in 2000 with a mandate from 2001 to 2004 , elected Mayor of Concord in 2004 with a mandate of 2005 to 2008 . President of AMAUC - Association of Municipalities of Alto Uruguay Santa Catarina and FECAM - Catarinense Federation of Municipalities in 2005.

Dadabhai Naoroji: was a Parsi intellectual, educator, cotton trader, and an early Indian political leader. His book, Poverty and Un-British Rule in India, brought into the limelight the drain of India's wealth into Britain. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) in the British House of Commons between 1892 and 1895, and the first Asian to be a British MP.[1] He is also credited with the founding of the Indian National Congress, along with A.O. Hume and Dinshaw Edulji Wacha.

Bhagwan Dada: an Indian actor and film director. He is best known for his social film Albela.From 1938 to 1949 he directed a string of low budget stunt and action films that were popular with the working classes. He used to play a naive simpleton. In 1962 he turned producer with Jagriti Pics and Bhagwan Arts Production, owning Jagriti Studios, Chembur. On advice of Raj Kapoor he turned to making a social film called Albela starring Bhagwan and Geeta Bali, and featuring music by his friend Chitalkar, or C. Ramchandra The songs of the film, in particular Shola Jo Bhadke are still remembered.

George Dadamo: is a Canadian politician. He served as a New Democratic Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1990 to 1995. Dadamo first ran for the Ontario legislature in the 1987 provincial election, finishing a close second to incumbent Liberal Bill Wrye in the riding of Windsor—Sandwich. Dadamo did not seek re-election in the 1995 provincial election, and has not sought a return to provincial politics since that time. He did run unsuccessfully for Windsor City Council in 1997 in Ward 2 (west Windsor). Damado later moved to Alberta. It has been reported that he was considering seeking the nomination of the Alberta Liberal Party to run as a candidate for a 2009 by-election in the electoral district of Calgary-Glenmore. He decided to back out when Corey Hogan announced his candidacy.
