Aeneas Demetrius Williams: is a former American football cornerback and free safety, who last played with the St. Louis Rams. Williams, whose father worked for Union Carbide, attended Fortier High School, where he played football on a team with three future NFL players.

Aeneas Coffey: was born in Calais, France, where he spent his early years. His family returned to Dublin (both his parents were Irish), where he was educated at tcd. He entered the excise servce around 1799-1800 as a gauger. He married Susanna Logie in 1808, and they had a son, also named Aeneas, who may have been their only child.According to British customs and excise records, he was appointed sub-commissioner of Inland Excise and Taxes for the district of Drogeda in 1813, and was eventually promoted to Inspector General of Excise in Ireland. He resigned from the service at his own request in 1824.

Aeneas Chigwedere: is a Zimbabwean politician, historian, educationist, and traditional leader. He served as the Minister of Education, Sports, & Culture since August 2001, and was appointed as the Resident Minister and Governor of Mashonaland East Province in August 2008. He was installed as Headman Svosve Mubayiwa the 10th in March 2008. In 1996, he was appointed to chair the ZANU PF commission on education reform, and in 1999 became the Secretary for Administration in Mashonaland East. He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Education in July 2000, and in August 2001, Chigwedere became the Minister of Education, Sport and Culture, Zimbabwe's largest ministry both in budget allocation and manpower. His mandate has been to redirect education curricula to suit Zimbabwe's current needs, to integrate culture and mainstream education, and restructure sporting organizations into sustainable accountable professional associations. With large-scale population movements that came with land redistribution, a big part of the Ministry’s work has been establishing and reorganizing schools in the new farming communities.
