Nzinga Mbande: was a 17th century queen (muchino a muhatu) of the Ndongo and Matamba Kingdoms of the Mbundu people in southwestern Africa.Nzinga was born to Ngola Kiluanji and Kangela around 1582. According to tradition, she was named Nzinga because her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck (the Kimbundu verb kujinga means to twist or turn). It was said to be an indication that the person who had this characteristic would be proud and haughty. According to her recollections later in life, she was greatly favored by her father, who allowed her to witness as he governed his kingdom, and who carried her with him to war. She also had a brother, Ngola Mbandi and two sisters Kifunji and Mukambu.

Christian-Norbert Nzinga: is a French-born Angolan footballer currently without a club. He played for Cercle Brugge in Belgium,[3] and also spent time with KSK Maldegem during the 2005–06 season.[1] He then played for 1. FC Saarbrücken in Germany before signing for Virtus Lanciano in Italy.[3] He later played for UD Marbella in Spain[3] and Serie B club Triestina.[2] Following their relegation he signed for U.S.D. Sorianese.[2] He signed for Finnsnes on level 4 in Norway in June 2009 but left the club after a month and 2 appearances. [4]

François Luambo Luanzo Makiadi: is a Congolese (DRC) musician born March 30, 1946 in Lufu-Toto, Bas-Congo Province. Lema is a pianist, guitarist, and songwriter. He worked for the National Ballet of Zaire, as it was then called, and in 1979 was invited to the United States by the Rockefeller Foundation. By 1989 he had international success signing with Island Records. His initial training had been European classical music at a Catholic seminary where he had been planning to become a priest. His concert debut was Moonlight Sonata, but later he left the seminary and became interested in popular music from outside Africa. He became a performer in clubs and was a fan of musicians like Jimi Hendrix. This was not entirely approved of in the Congolese music of that time. He later went to the United States and Europe, settling in Paris. He has also become a figure in world music. He has also done work as a film composer.
