Niní Marshall: was a popular Argentine comedienne and actress.She was born Marina Esther Traverso in Buenos Aires to Pedro and María Ángela Traverso, a well-to-do family in Rosario, in 1903. Losing her father at two months of age, she was raised by her mother, who affectionately called her "Niní." They relocated to the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito when Niní was in her teens, and she began a career in advertising. She met Felipe Edelman, an engineer, while in her senior year in secondary school, and they married in 1922, a few months after the birth of their only daughter, Ángeles. The happy occasion was followed by her mother's untimely death, however, a tragedy compounded by Felipe Edelman's decline into compulsive gambling. Facing economic ruin, the couple were separated shortly afterwards and she remarried.[1]

Born in Tel Aviv in 1969 Noa lived in New York City from age 2 and attended SAR Academy primary school, and the Rabbi Joseph H. Lookstein Upper School of Ramaz High School, and remained until her return to Israel alone at the age of 17. Her family is originally from Yemen. After serving the mandatory two years in the Israeli Army in a military entertainment unit, Noa studied music at the Rimon School where she met her long-time partner and collaborator Gil Dor.
