Jan Józef Lipski: was a Polish critic and literature historian, socialist politician, and notable Freemason (for a long time Master of the Copernicus Lodge). As a soldier of the Home Army (Armia Krajowa), he fought in the Warsaw Uprising. Editor of collected works by Jan Kasprowicz, Benedykt Chmielowski and Gabriela Zapolska.In 1980, Lipski became a member of the Solidarity Union and was elected a delegate to the 1st Delegates’ Rally to represent the Masovia Region (based in Warsaw). On December 14 1981, after the imposition of the martial law, he was arrested and charged with orchestrating a protest.

Jan Lubranski: was a Polish bishop, politician and diplomat. His coat of arms was Godziemba.Lubranski was bishop of Plock between 1497 - 1498 and bishop of Poznan since 1498, founder of many churches in his dioceses, initiator of the reconstruction of the Poznan cathedral. As a bishop he was automatically a senator, close collaborator of the Polish kings, he was frequently used as a diplomat.

Jan Mosdorf: was a Polish right-wing politician, director of the nationalist organization All-Polish Youth (Mlodziez Wszechpolska, MW) and member of the far-right political party Obóz Narodowo-Radykalny (ONR). He also worked as a publicist, using the pseudonym Andrzej Witkowski. Mosdorf died in Auschwitz concentration camp in 1943, killed for helping Jews.In 1928, during the IV Congress of the MW, which took place in Lwów, he was elected director of the organization. Mosdorf was widely liked by fellow members of the MW, his appearances were always associated with applause. Later on, being a member of the ONR, he had to hide for some time, when the government incarcerated several activists of the organization in the Bereza Kartuska prison.

Jan Pilsudski: was a Polish politician and younger brother of Józef Pilsudski.He served in the Sejm of the Republic of Central Lithuania, and after its annexation to Poland in 1922, in various positions in the Polish government. As a result of the defeat of Poland following the Invasion of Poland in 1939, Pilsudski was forced to flee, but was arrested by the Soviets in Vilnius. He was freed as a result of a prisoner exchange in 1941, and went to the United Kingdom where he died in exile.

Jan Ludwik Poplawski: was a Polish publicist, politician and one of the first chief activists and ideologues of the right-wing National Democracy political camp.[1]As a student he belonged to patriotic political organization Confederation of Polish Nation (Konfederacja Narodu Polskiego). In 1878 he was arrested by Russian authorities.[2] Released in 1882, Poplawski returned to Warsaw and began to write in Prawda (Truth) newspaper under pen name Wiat. Since 1886 he worked in Glos (The Voice) weekly.
