Ghulam Mohammad Farhad: was an Afghan engineer and Pashtun nationalist.[citation needed] He lived in Germany on a royal scholarship from 1921 to 1928, training as an electrician at the Technical University of Munich. During his studies in Germany, he came in contact with Nazi policy and became fascinated by some aspects of it.[1] After he returned to Afghanistan, Farhad was appointed to several electricity-related posts in the government, finally serving as president of the Kabul Electric Company from 1939 to 1966. He traveled to Germany in 1947 to acquire equipment; he was often accused of favoring German-manufactured products. From 1948 to 1954, he was mayor of Kabul. He notably installed the city's first traffic lights and declared a switch to right-hand driving. In 1966, Farhad created the Afghan Social Democratic Party (also known as Afghan Mellat or "Afghan Nation") on the bases of Pashtun nationalism, social democracy, and anticommunism. He was elected to Parliament, representing the sixth district of Kabul, in 1968, but resigned his seat in 1970. He was later a political prisoner of the PDPA/Khalq government from 1979 to 1980, when he was freed in a general amnesty.

Ghulam Dastagir Panjsheri: Panjsheri was usually identified as a Khalq by fellow Afghan politicians, while outside observers said he was creating his own PDPA group under the name, Kar.[1][2]Panjsheri studied at Kabul Teachers College and was the faculty of letters at the Kabul University. After working in a journal under the name, Anis and teaching literature at the Kabul Teachers College he started working for the Ministry of Information and Culture. In 1965, he became a member of the Central Committee of the PDPA at their first congress meeting on January 1, 1965. When Babrak Karmal left the PDPA because of the power struggle between the Khalq and the Parchams

Ghulam Farooq Wardag: was appointed as the Minister of Education of Afghanistan on October, 11, 2008.[1]In 1982, Farooq Wardag was admitted to the Faculty of Pharmacy in Punjab University, Pakistan and graduated with a degree in 1986.[2] While working with the United Nations from 1996 to 2001 in Pakistan, he received a masters degree in Administration from Preston University, Peshawar, Pakistan.

Ghulam Jelani Popal: is currently the head of head of Independent directorate local government in Afghanistan[1]. Mr. Popal was born in Barikot neighborhood of Kabul City where his forefathers were settled during the reign of Timur Shah Abdali when the Capital was moved from Kandahar to Kabul. He is a graduate of Habibia High School and Faculty of Law of Kabul University. He has attended numerous management and development courses in Europe and the United States. He has had many successful attempts in development projects. Over the past twenty years he has founded one of the best non-profit organizations called the Afghan Development Association and was also one of the 7 founding directors of Afghan Health And Development Services (AHDS). After the collapse of the Taliban, under the new Government, Mr. Popal had served many positions including as a Deputy Minister for Customs and Revenue[2].

Ghulam Faruq Yaqubi: was an Afghan politician and Army General. He was a significant figure In the Afghan Security Service, KHAD, from 1980 to 1985.He was promoted both to Politburo status and to the military rank of Colonel General, the highest held by regime military. In 1986 the KHAD became a separate ministry under the name Ministry of State Security" (WAD). The ministry was personally controlled by him, who started to take part in cabinet meetings in a ministerial capacity.[1]
