Marinaro, son of Hector Marinaro, Sr. and brother of Hector Marinaro, grew up playing soccer under the tutelage of his father. Marinaro attended Clemson University where he played on the men’s soccer team from 1987 to 1992. Marinaro began coaching at summer camps in 1995 and 1996.
