Jahan Mir Rzakhan Qizi Talyshinskaya
Origin/Culture/Country: AzerbaijaniJahan Mir Rzakhan Qizi Talyshinskaya: was an Azerbaijani folk singer and theatre actress.Talyshinskaya first studied at Maryam Bayramalibeyova's Uns School for Girls and moved to Baku at the age of nine to attend the Azerbaijani Girls Seminary. While residing at her older sister Bilgeys's house, she learned how to play the piano and the tar with no professional instruction.
Rashid Jahan

Rounaq Jahan

A former faculty of Dhaka University, Professor Jahan teaches and researches at Columbia University since 1990. She was a representative of Bangladesh to the 32nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly in 1977.[1] She founded Women for Women, one of the first feminist research centres in Bangladesh, in 1973,[2] and is the director of Research Initiatives Bangladesh (RIB).
Nasreen Jahan
Origin/Culture/Country: BangladeshiNasreen Jahan: a modern Bangladeshi author and literary editor. She became famous with the publication of her award-wiining novel Urukku in 1993.Nasreen Jahan Beauty was born and brought up in Mymensingh. She joined the Chander Hat, a national children's and juvenile organizaiton in 1974 and started to write rhymes and short stories in the children's page of daily Purbadesh. She was profusely encouraged by writer-editor Rafiqul Haque who was also a top-brass rhymer of Bangladesh. Later she concentrated on short stories and published in all leading literary papers and magazines of the country including the Kishore Bangla. She got married to poet Anwar Ahmed in 1984. She has a daughter.
